WWE 2K23 servers have been taken offline

2K is really taking the year-on-year thing seriously.

WWE 2K23 servers are now offline, meaning those who like to play online will need to purchase the most recent WWE 2K24.

WWE 2K23 is getting its final takedown. As of January 6, 2025, the servers will be discontinued,” 2K said.

“This includes all online functions, such as online matches and Community Creations. You will no longer be able to access any online game mode after this point, however, if you already own the game you will be able to continue to play offline modes.”

We reviewed WWE 2K23 in that same year.

WWE 2K23 on the whole is that it’s a welcome, if small, step up,” Jam wrote in their review. “Nobody who is coming over from WWE 2K22 will really be wowed by anything here, but the cumulative minor updates, iterations, additions and improvements are all very good and very welcome.”

WWE 2K24 was released back in March of last year.
