WWE 2K22 gameplay trailer showcases “redesigned gameplay engine”

What do you think of it?

A new WWE 2K22 gameplay trailer showcases the title’s “redesigned gameplay engine,” according to 2K.

“The trailer showcases stunning visuals made possible by the redesigned gameplay engine, crisp new animations, new game modes including MyGM, and much more,” 2K advised in a press release.

Featuring the likes of Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Stone Cold Steve Austin and more, a bunch of the gameplay near the beginning is shown in a slow-mo, cinematic style. It eventually gets to the (real time) goods later on.

WWE 2K22 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 from 11 March. As with other sports titles in its roster, 2K will be charging extra for its current-gen offering, despite the franchise taking a break last year due to quality concerns.
