World of Warcraft Classic Australian servers available at launch

World of Warcraft Classic Australian servers will be available at launch, Blizzard has recently confirmed.

“We agree with the many WoW Classic enthusiasts in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia that it will be a very good thing for players in that part of the world to connect to realms that are hosted in that part of the world,” community Manager Kaivax recently wrote in the game’s forums.

Hosted in Australia, the Oceanic servers will be available from launch, 27 August. From 13 August, Blizzard will make the names of the Oceanic realms known so users can take advantage of name reservations.

World of Warcraft Classic is currently in beta and stress testings, the last of which concludes 27 July. The game will launch on PC on 27 August.
