World of Warcraft’s “Warlords of Draenor” expansion now part of base game

World of Warcraft‘s latest expansion, “Warlords of Draenor”, is now part of the game’s base, Blizzard has recently confirmed.

Users took to Reddit noticing the change, prompting Blizzard’s customer support to make the confirmation.

“Separate ‘Warlords’ copies should no longer be available from retailers, as the registration code for the expansion can no longer be redeemed through Battle.net,” a Blizzard rep said.

“If someone has an unregistered code for the ‘Warlords of Draenor’ expansion, my recommendation would be to reach out to us via the options this page, and then be able to provide the registration code once you’re in touch with us.”

The representative also confirmed that a level 90 boost will no longer be distributed to those who purchase the base game.

This move means all of World of Warcraft‘s expansions are part of its core game. It’s sixth expansion, “Legion”, will be sold separately upon its launch, 30 August.
