The Witcher 3 Xbox Series & PS5 upgrade coming later in 2021

Time to forget about Cyberpunk?

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt will get an Xbox Series S & X and PS5 current-gen upgrade later in 2021, CD Projekt Red has today confirmed.

CD Projekt Red’s Radek Grabowski took to Twitter to detail the news, adding that the update would drop in the second half of this year.

The update itself was announced back in September last year, with CDPR confirming the update would be free to those who already own the title on Xbox One or PS4. The upgrade will impact the base game and its two major expansions, offering up ray-tracing, speedier loading times and more.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch; an update for Xbox Series S & X and PS5 is due in the second half of 2021.
