The Witcher 3 free on GOG if you own it on other platforms

The Witcher 3 is free on GOG if you own it on another platform (excluding Switch, sadly), the online platform today announced.

Any player who has The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on a platform connected to GOG Galaxy 2.0 — so that’s Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox One and PS4 — can redeem the GOG version through the application itself.

You’ve got until 9.00 pm AEST on 23 June to download GOG Galaxy 2.0, connect other platforms and redeem The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt again. Saves and the like don’t cross over, so this is perhaps the best deal ever if you were thinking about a replay and didn’t mind starting from scratch.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
