Wild Hearts release date set for 17 February 2023

Get hype!

The Wild Hearts release date has been set for 17 February 2023 across PC and consoles, EA and Koei Tecmo have today revealed.

The news comes alongside the game’s first trailer, which you can see below. An extended gameplay trailer has already been promised for 6 October here in Australia.

“Published under the EA Originals label and developed by Omega Force, the team behind the popular Warriors series, Wild Hearts whisks players away on an epic adventure set in fantasy feudal Japan,” reads a press release. “There, they’ll battle against giant nature-infused beasts called Kemono with the help of Karakuri, sophisticated mechanisms crafted from a lost, ancient technology.”

Players will be able to journey through a land called Azuma as a solo adventurer or paired with two friends via co-op. Cross-play between available platforms will also be on offer.

Wild Hearts opens up a vibrant fantasy world to players that’s as untamed as it is beautiful,” said Yosuke Hayashi of Koei Tecmo. “With Wild Hearts, not only did we want to showcase the evolution, infusion and real threat caused by Kemono, but we also wanted to create a game where crafting was at the core of the experience, redefining what can be possible in a beast hunting game. We have placed great care in designing our Karakuri to fit within the combat, and we’re excited for players to use these powerful mechanisms to fight giant beasts and traverse the world.”

Expect Wild Hearts from 17 February 2023 on Windows PC via Steam, Origin and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
