Weird Al’s biopic heads to Australia via Paramount+ in March

Soooo maybe don't pirate it after that...

Weird Al Yankovic’s biopic, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, will head to Australia via Paramount+ in March.

The film is available on Roku in the USA and stars none other than Harry Potter lead Daniel Radcliffe as Yankovic. He co-stars alongside Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld, Across the Universe) as Madonna, Rainn Wilson (The Office, The Meg) as Dr. Demento, Toby Huss (Cop Shop, Halloween) as Nick Yankovic and Julianne Nicholson (I, Tonya, Mare of Easttown) as Mary Yankovic.

Weird has been available overseas for quite some time now; Yankovic himself famously took to Twitter to advise that Australian fans… um, resort to other means should they want to watch it.

We’re not one to put words in Yankovic’s mouth, but we’d imagine he’d want to you tune into Paramount+ from 2 March when Weird is available to view legally.

In Australia, Paramount+ will set you back $8.99 AUD per month; you can sign up now and get your first week free.

Expect Weird: The Al Yankovic Story on Paramount+ here in Australia from 2 March 2023.
