Watch Dogs Legion offers 4K, 30FPS, ray-tracing on next-gen consoles

Watch Dogs Legion will offer a mode that displays in 4K and 30FPS (frames-per-second) also offering support for ray-tracing, Ubisoft has confirmed over the weekend.

Producer Lathieeshe Thillainathan confirmed as much in a Reddit AMA, though didn’t go as far to confirm whether or not players could forego ray-tracing for a presentation at 4K and 60FPS. (If you had to ask us to assume if that’ll be possible, we’d wager yes…)

Watch Dogs Legion will offer a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 and does the same between Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X using Xbox Smart Delivery. The title will add multiplayer via a free update in December.

Watch Dogs Legion heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia on 29 October, then on 10 November for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, and finally from 12 November on PS5.
