Watch Dogs 2: Seamless multiplayer delayed until future patch

A day ahead of launch, Ubisoft has delayed Watch Dogs 2‘s seamless multiplayer.

The feature, which we’ve experienced without issue in multiple, contained previews and as part of our review, will be added back in the game’s next patch.

Ubisoft says seamless multiplayer is currently causing lag issues inside the game, though these problems have been fixed in the forthcoming update. That particular patch under certification at both Microsoft and Sony.

We’ve rated Watch Dogs 2 8.5/10 in our recent review, and will let you know when the patch goes live.

Watch Dogs 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 tomorrow.
