Walmart leaks Auston Matthews as the NHL 20 cover star

Walmart Canada might have missed leaking things during E3 2019, but they’re in ahead of the NHL 20′s official cover star announcement at the NHL Awards today.

Ahead of the announcement, a Walmart Canada NHL 20 listing featured an image with the Toronto Maple Leafs’ Auston Matthews as the cover star. The listing has since been removed, but not before those on the internet managed to grab screenshots (thanks, Reddit).

The actual, official cover star announcement should be taking place momentarily; we’ll keep you posted.

NHL 20 is planned for Xbox One and PS4 for a release on 13 September.
