Vets from Antistatic Studios tease off Twin Peaks-inspired shooter

It's certainly interesting...

The newly formed Antistatic Studios has teased its first title, a Twin Peaks-inspired paranormal shooter codenamed Hornet.

The studio is full of industry veterans including Lukasz Ludkowski (Cyberpunk 2077), Kris Teper (BioShock series), Maciej Miksztal (Co-founder, Starward Industries), and Michal Koltun (Conan Exiles).

The game creators have established a connection with the most influential writers from the biggest paranormal universes… to work on the project’s lore,” a press release from the studio reads.

Antistatic calls Hornet a “PvE cooperative tactical shooter fueled by emergent gameplay”, in which players “work for a mysterious organization known as Mortfield Industries”.

“Their mission is to search and contain any paranormal activity… by any means necessary,” the press release continued. “They operate under adverse conditions of the post-nuclear European continent.”

You can get some real Red Room vibes in the trailer above.

We’ll have more on Antistatic Studios and Hornet as it’s made available. In the meantime, what do you think?
