Utomik PC gaming subscription service officially launches

Utomik, a PC gaming subscription service, officially launched yesterday after a two-year beta.

The subscription service, priced at $6.99 USD a month (or $9.99 USD for a four-person family plan) features a library of over 750 titles across more than 100 publishers. Titles like the Batman: Arkham series, Saints Row IV, Human: Fall Flat, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, The Flame in the Flood and Furi are featured on the service. A recent agreement with IO Interactive means the Hitman franchise will soon be offered as well.

“Our smart download technology ensures you play games instantly with the click of a button,” Utomik said of itself in a recent press release. “Instead of streaming games from a server, Utomik users download a small part to their own PC. The rest downloads to your PC while you play. This technology has continued to improve greatly over the years, ensuring the fastest and best possible gaming experience.”

We reviewed the Utomik service back in July last year. If you’d like to try it out for yourself, you can sign up for a free 14-day trial here.
