Unknown 9 Awakening story trailer sets the tone

Check it out.

A new Unknown 9 Awakening story trailer will help players set expectations ahead of the game’s release later in 2024.

“Players can discover more about the motivations driving Haroona’s quest and spot a few of the friends and foes she’ll encounter along the way,” Bandai Namco said in a press release. “Haroona has relied on her beloved mentor Reika’s teaching to help her master her unique Fold-related abilities since she was a child.

“For years, she trained Haroona on the intricacies of this other dimension, tutored her on the ways of the world, and often recounted tales of enigmatic immortal figures said to preside over all of humanity’s knowledge — the Unknown 9.”

“Unfortunately, all this training came to a sudden halt the moment Vincent Lichter decided to take Reika’s life. Believing the Unknown 9 have kept humanity from realising its true potential for far too long, the leader of the Ascendants and former pupil of Reika’s has committed himself to freeing the world of their influence once and for all,” Bandai Namco continued.

Unknown 9 Awakening heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 later this year.
