Unknown 9 Awakening release date set for 18 October

Say hello to the entry point of a new IP...

The Unknown 9 Awakening release date was today detailed by Bandai Namco at Gamescom; players can expect the new title from 18 October.

The news also came with a new live-action trailer, which is below.

In it, “watch Haroona – portrayed by Anya Chalotra – prepare to awaken her powers,” Bandai Namco said. “Haroona is a powerful young woman gifted with a unique connection to the Fold, a mysterious parallel dimension, from which she draws incredible power that she will have to use to defend humanity’s best kept secrets.”

Pre-orders are now available across three separate editions — the Pre-Order edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition, and the Collector’s Edition.

“Unknown 9 Awakening is the key entry point into the Unknown 9 IP’s expansive narrative universe, which includes a series of interconnected adventures told across comic books, podcasts, novels, and more,” continued Bandai Namco. “Players will be able to extend their Unknown 9: Awakening experience by enjoying these tales. Those who know where to look will uncover their share of crossovers, callbacks, secrets and more.”

Expect Unknown 9 Awakening from 18 October on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5.
