Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones is Black Flag without the Assassins

Skull & Bones was today announced by Ubisoft at its E3 press conference.

“This is your chance to not just survive, but to surpass the legend of every pirate who sailed the seven seas,” Justin Farren, Creative Director said.

The tactical action game will let you “master the oceans and the winds at the helms of ships armed to the teeth.” Essentially, it’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag without the Assassins and with a lot more PvP; five different modes more, in fact.

You’ll be able to take the game on in solo mode on as a band of pirates with friends.

Time to unleash the Kraken, eh?

Skull & Bones will release on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 over spring 2018 here in Australia.
