Ubisoft not holding E3 2022 replacement livestream

But an Ubisoft Connect is planned for later this year.

Ubisoft will not be holding an E3 2022 replacement livestream (or Summer Game Fest 2022 livestream, if you’d prefer), instead opting to hold an event later in the year.

The publisher told Axios that an Ubisoft Connect is instead planned for “later this year”.

Ubisoft was mysteriously absent from a list of publishers and developers taking part in Summer Game Fest; this now explains why. Ubisoft joins the likes of EA in missing out in this mid-year event, instead opting for something closer to the holiday season.

Summer Game Fest 2022 kicked off proper today with a PlayStation State of Play. In it, Resident Evil 4 remake was finally confirmed alongside release dates for the likes of Stray, Final Fantasy 16, The Callisto Protocol and more.
