Ubisoft confirms Far Cry 4 for a November release on last-, current-gen

Ubisoft used a financials call to confirm Far Cry 4 for a November release on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and Windows PC.

Much like the premise of Far Cry 3, the game will take place in a fictional land. This time around, it’s Kyrat, somewhere within the Himalayas. You’ll be tasked with liberating the region from a self-appointed dictator.

“The year’s performance will be led by five games,” Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot said. “Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, Just Dance, The Crew and Watch Dogs.”

Pre-orders for Far Cry 4 are already available. Users who part with their cash now will receive the Limited Edition of the game, which includes three extra single-player missions featuring Far Cry 3‘s Hurk.

Far Cry 4 will be available from 18 November on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and Windows PC.

We’ll have more on Far Cry 4 soon.
