Twitch now lets you purchase games directly from streams

Twitch viewers are now able to buy games that are being streamed on the popular service.

As detailed in February, the Get It On Twitch initiative will allow Twitch viewers to buy video games directly from a stream, giving a 5% of the profits to the Twitch streamer who’s playing.

Each streamer’s page now has a dedicate purchase button. Games purchased through the service can be launched via the Twitch Desktop App, or in the case of Ubisoft games, through Uplay.

USD is the only currency currently supported in the scheme.

Do you plan on buying the games you watch via stream?
