Twin Peaks’ Kyle MacLachlan now in the Fallout TV series and we’re suddenly interested

The atomic bombs are not what they seem...

Twin Peaks lead Kyle MacLachlan has been cast in the Prime Video live-action Fallout TV series and we’re suddenly far more interested in it than ever before.

According to Variety, MacLachlan will join the likes of Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (Justified) and newcomers Xelia Mendes-Jones and Aaron Moten, though it’s unclear who any of the actors will play as yet.

MacLachlan’s an absolute legend, appearing in David Lynch’s Blue Velvet and Dune alongside more recent television appearances in Portlandia and Joe vs. Carole.

The Fallout TV series was first announced in 2020; production is expected to begin this year.
