Turn 10 responds to fan feedback and fixes microtransactions in Forza 5

Turn 10 has responded to fan criticism and has dramatically lowered the cost of vehicles in Forza 5, effectively doing away with then need to use microtransactions in Forza Motorsport 5.

On-disc cars will soon be reduced to 45% of their current prices, IGN reported last week. This means that the Ferrari 250 GTO down will cost 2 million in-game dollars rather than 6 million.

Players will also earn in-game currency at a pace closer to that seen in Forza 4.

The microtransaction-killing update will also bring drag racing and tag multiplayer modes to the game.
