Trek to Yomi combat, story shown off in new trailers

Fancy.

Trek to Yomi combat and story have been shown off in two new trailers that have been showcased in Microsoft- and Sony-led livestreams.

We’ve embedded both below.

First, the story trailer that premiered during a PlayStation State of Play last week.

“As a vow to his dying Master, the young swordsman Hiroki is sworn to protect his town and the people he loves against all threats,” Devolver said alongside the trailer. “Faced with tragedy and bound to duty, the lone samurai must voyage beyond life and death to confront himself and decide his path forward.”

Next up, combat straight from a Microsoft ID@Xbox Showcase held earlier today.

What do you make of both?

Trek to Yomi is planned for a 2022 release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
