Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 has no microtransactions “at launch”

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 will not have microtransactions “at launch,” developer Vicarious Visions has confirmed.

“Everything that you see at launch is going to be unlocked with gameplay,” Vicarious Visions head Jen Oneal told Gamespot.

“We’re not planning on having monetization at launch,” she added, saying that the game will be a “complete package” from day one.

The term “at launch” is important there, however — Oneal did admit that Vicarous Visions may provide additional paid content if there’s demand in future.

Expect Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One and PS4 from 4 September. Those who pre-order will gain access to a Warehouse Demo that will be offered ahead of release.
