Tomb Raider animated series heads to Netflix in October

And continues on from Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Tomb Raider animated series will air on Netflix in October, continuing the story seen within Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Called Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft, “the animated series… picks up after the events of the highly successful Tomb Raider video game Survivor trilogy (Tomb Raider; Rise of the Tomb Raider; Shadow of the Tomb Raider), and will chart the globetrotting heroine’s next chapter as the iconic adventurer,” Netflix said of the series.

Hayley Atwell, of Marvel Cinematic Universe fame, will voice Croft.

“More than 25 years after her first appearance, Lara Croft… continues to explore ancient mysteries and uncover lost truths across breathtaking and dangerous destinations,” Netflix continued.
