Titanfall: Frontline, the mobile card spin-off, cancelled by Respawn

Respawn has taken to Facebook to confirm it’s scrapped the mobile Titanfall card game, Frontline.

The card game is currently in closed beta.

“We’ve learned an incredible amount in the beta test of Titanfall: Frontline, but in the end felt the experience wasn’t ready to deliver the intense action-packed gameplay synonymous with Titanfall,” Respawn said in its update.

“While it’s never easy to cancel a game, we’re excited to take some of the concepts we saw resonate with players and build off of them in future Titanfall mobile games.”

Frontline‘s beta servers will be discontinued on 20 January.

Titanfall 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
