Titanfall 2: 1 on 1 mode detailed, Attrition mode returns and more

A bunch of news on EA’s Titanfall 2 has hit the internet.

First, a new 1 on 1 mode called Coliseum will feature in the game.

“Accessible only by Coliseum tickets, this fast, ruthless game mode is determined by the best 2 out of 3,” a press release from Mountain Dew and Doritos — no, really — states.

“The winner walks away with gifts and unlockables in the form of Advocate Gifts. Fame and fortune await you in the Coliseum, but only those who come armed with their wits, cunning and Coliseum ticket will taste victory.”

Of course, tickets will be available via Doritos, Buffalo Wild Wings and Mountain Dew products. It’s unclear if the promotion extends outside the United States.

“Anyone can earn Coliseum tickets just by playing multiplayer, but they are also available through the Mountain Dew and Buffalo Wild Wings promotions,” EA later clarified.

EA also confirmed that Attrition will be available inside the upcoming sequel.

Finally, EA released a new trailer focusing on Pilots.

Titanfall 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 next month.
