The SMITE Oceania Pro League will send one ANZ team to the World Championships

The SMITE Oceania Pro League will offer up a prize pool of $50,000 AUD and will send one team to the SMITE World Championships in early 2016.

Eight SMITE Oceania Pro League teams have already been determined, and will begin livestreaming each Saturday and Sunday from 25 July at 6pm AEST. Streaming can be viewed here.

The eight teams are Avant Garde, Dire Wolves, Citadel Gaming, Too Edgy, Team Kamikaze, Lore Gaming, Synapse and Silicon Sports.

When the season is finished, the winning team will receive travel and accomodation to Atlanta, USA to compete with teams from the USA, Europe, Brazil, Latin America and China in the SMITE World Championships.

Additoonally, Open Ladder and the Challengers Cup will allow for amateur teams to contend with the original eight.

The SMITE World Championships 2016 take place 7-10 January, presented by Xbox One.
