The Shovel Knight amiibo is real, but won’t be made by Nintendo

Destructoid today reports that the Shovel Knight amiibo will be the first official third-party figure of its kind.

Yacht Club Games has been licensed to create the figure, according to Destructoid, with Nintendo will supervising the whole affair.

The Shovel Knight amiibo is available for pre-order now.
