The puppetry of Star Fox: Nintendo opens their E3 conference with a bang

Nintendo opened their E3 press conference by introducing Star Fox… with puppets.

Called Star Fox Zero, Nintendo’s Miyamoto-san used the conference to explain how the game came to be.

A bunch of gameplay was shown, with Fox’s ship taking on full-offensive, drone and chicken modes.

The game will take advantage of the Wii U’s dual screens, with the TV showing a third-person view and the GamePad taking a cockpit-style, first-person view.

Star Fox Zero is set for release this holiday on Wii U.
