The Melbourne-made Dogpile is out now on Steam

Surprise!

As part of Day of the Devs’ Game Awards Edition, the Melbourne-made Dogpile has shadow dropped today on Windows PC via Steam.

Created through combination of two studios, Toot Games (My Arms are Longer Now) and Studio Folly (Real Bird Fake Bird)Dogpile is described as a “doglike deckbuilder” in which players attempt to merge the same types of dogs.

Merged dogs grow into even larger ones, with the end goal to make as many mergers as possible.

“Like in real life, dogs come with quirks and untapped potential! You’ll discover any variety of weird traits such as Barky, Sleepy, Timid, Cool and more,” reads a press release.  “Take your dogs to the Dog Wash to add even more traits, and find Dog Tags that bolster and benefit from Trait synergy!”

If you like what you see from the feature above, you can go and grab Dogpile on Steam right this very second.

A demo is also available should you wish to try before you buy. Otherwise, Dogpile will set you back $9.99 USD (though currently offers a 30% launch discount, which comes to $10.15 AUD locally!).
