The live-action “Last Sermon” Darksiders II video has some real star appeal

Check out this new live-action short for Darksiders II, featuring none other than Game of Thrones’ James Cosmo. “The Last Sermon,” says THQ, “tells a story of mankind’s last hours on earth after War is tricked into prematurely bringing about the apocalypse and portrays the sequel’s protagonist, Death, in a way fans haven’t seen him before.”

Darksiders II will follow the exploits of Death, one of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, in a tale that runs parallel to the events in the original Darksiders game.

Look for Darksiders II in August 2012 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, and later on for Wii U.
