The Happy Mask Salesman will return for another Legend of Zelda game

The Legend of Zelda‘s Happy Mask Salesman has confirmed he’ll be part of an upcoming game. The revelation was made as the character was ‘interviewed’ for Nintendo’s Miiverse.

“My, my… I’ve certainly been appearing all over the place these past few days,” the character ‘said’. “If this keeps going, maybe it wouldn’t be a stretch to expect me to pop up in a new Zelda game, too…? Ho, ho, ho… I’ve got some new masks, too, if you’d like to try them on… If I do make an appearance, I’m sure everyone will experience such happiness! Believe in your strengths… Believe… Ho, ho, ho…”

The Happy Mask Salesman has appeared in The Oracle of AgesThe Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. Rather than an unannounced Zelda game, it’s assumed the character will appear in Zelda on Wii U.
