The Game Expo heads to Melbourne in March 2023

Tickets are on sale now.

The Game Expo is a new Melbourne-based event from organisers behind the likes of Battle Arena Melbourne, The Big LAN, ITZ Gaming, Kanga Esports and Events Engine.

The event takes place over Moomba weekend, 11-12 March 2023, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“You will get to dive into esports tournaments from beginner to pro level,” organisers detailed in a press release. “You can show your creativity and meet creators showing wonderful cosplay, artwork, and meet Youtube or Twitch content creators. Relax and enjoy gaming of all kinds from tabletop and card gaming, to console freeplay and a massive BYOC PC LAN. And see the games from indie developers up to major publishers. Whatever you love in the gaming community, it’s at The Game Expo.”

The expo will have four distinct sections, with each representing a different facet of gaming: tournaments, cosplay, gameplay and an exhibition space.

It’s noted that “guests, tournaments, and more” will be announced in the lead up to the event, so it might be worth waiting for some of those before grabbing tickets.

We’ll have more on The Game Expo as it is made available.
