The Elder Scrolls Castles is a lot like Fallout Shelter

... and is certainly no Elder Scrolls 6.

The Elder Scrolls Castles was just stealth-dropped by Bethesda and looks a lot like Fallout Shelter.

In fact, I think it’s safe to describe it as Fallout Shelter with an Elder Scrolls skin, as you can see from the screenshots below… and because Bethesda dropped that other name itself.

“From Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning developer behind Skyrim and Fallout Shelter, comes The Elder Scrolls: Castles – a new mobile game that puts you in control of your very own castle and dynasty,” reads a description. “Oversee your subjects as the years come and go, families grow, and new rulers take the throne.”

Launched back on 27 September, the Google Play Store entry for the title seems to suggest its exhausted all available early access slots. You can head here to check at the time you read this so see if that’s changed.

The original Fallout Shelter originally launched on iOS; it’s spread since then, now available on Windows PC, Xbox, PS4, Switch and Android devices.

We’ll let you know when we learn more of The Elder Scrolls Castles.
