The Division won’t support players trading items at launch

Ubisoft today confirmed that Tom Clancy’s The Division won’t let players trade items in-game, though the feature may be added down the track.

“It’s the reality of production. Some features make it, some features don’t,” Associate Creative Director Julian Gerighty said speaking with GamesRadar.

Citing prioritisation of development items, Gerighty did add that item trading will “maybe make an appearance in the future.”

The Division will be available from 8 March on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. A closed beta is scheduled for later in the month.
