The Division has killed its companion app

The Division has scrapped its second-screen companion app.

The game’s developer, Massive, told journalists that the companion app wasn’t featured in the hands-on demo we experienced at demo, but today clarified that it had been removed from the game entirely.

In a statement, Stevivor was told that the companion app “created an imbalance” in the game that detracted from its overall experience.

We previewed The Division at E3 last week.
