The Division 2 gets nostalgic in its next DLC, Battle for Brooklyn

We're back where we started.

The Division 2 will head back to its source material inside its new Battle for Brooklyn DLC, content that takes place within the setting of the original Division.

“In Battle for Brooklyn, players will visit post-pandemic New York during fall for the first time and explore the iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo,” Ubisoft said in a press release.

“Brooklyn has been relatively peaceful with civilians working together and thriving while hostile factions ravaged Manhattan. However, the Cleaners and Rikers have now moved across the river, threatening the f[r]agile tranquil[l]ity of the Brooklyn settlement with the Purple Flame.”

It’s not just the locale that’ll remind you of the original The Division — the original’s Smart Cover unlockable skill will make a return.

You can expect Battle for Brooklyn from 27 May.

The Division 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5.
