The Dark Side of Ceclon is a one-man show coming in June

A solo-made TPS open world adventure.

The Dark Side of Ceclon is a solo-made TPS open world from SOLIDS Studio’s Alexandre Huger, and will be available on Windows PC via Steam on 21 June.

Huger, who also has a day job as a producer at WRC‘s Kylotonn, has been working on the game for four years now and describes it as “a TPS Open-world with a unique blend of action/adventure gameplay with survival/RPG mechanics set in a science-fiction universe.”

“Jensen, the sole survivor of the Nexentia shuttle crash, finds himself alone on the planet Ceclon, in an arid, hostile desert,” reads the game’s description. “You’ll have to survive and face the terrible Nocturnes, primitive creatures, in order to bring Veka energy back to Earth, humanity’s only hope.”

When Huger talks about the dark side of the planet, he’s not kidding — its trailer, above, gives off some real Pitch Black vibes. I wonder what’s lurking in the dark?

Huger recommends Ceclon for those who’ve enjoyed media including Alien, The Martian, and fittingly, The Chronicles of Riddick.

The Dark Side of Ceclon heads to Windows PC via Steam on 21 June. Check out its Steam page right here.
