The Casting of Frank Stone demo available now on Steam

Try before you buy.

The Casting of Frank Stone now has a demo available on Steam ahead of its September release date.

If you’re unfamiliar with Frank Stone, it’s a horrific, narrative adventure developed by Until Dawn and The Quarry‘s Supermassive and set within the universe of Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight.

The demo takes you through the prologue of Supermassive’s latest — and, as luck would have it, is the same experience that I myself had in a recent hands-on preview of the title.

“Think of Frank Stone as a very scary Choose Your Own Adventure. Highly narrative, you’ll take control of various characters — in the case of the preview, policeman Sam Green — and make dialogue choices and overall decisions that will largely impact what’s to follow,” I wrote at the time.

Overall, the experience should take you around 30 minutes to complete.

The Casting of Frank Stone will be available from 3 September across Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
