The Canadian dollar to be supported by Steam from next week

Like in Australia before it, Canada will see their dollar supported on Steam from 7 October.

Great news, right? Sort of.

As you might expect, Canadians on NeoGAF are already worried they’ll be slammed with much higher prices as opposed to a simple currency conversion from USD to CAD.

The Canadian Dollar is one of twelve new local currencies set to be supported by Steam this year. Eh.
