That Mortal Kombat 1 reboot is going to be officially confirmed tonight

Surprise?

The Mortal Kombat 1 reboot will be officially announced tonight, ending weeks of speculation and rumours.

The fact that we think the next Mortal Kombat is indeed a reboot is a rumour itself — though coming from renowned PlayStation Plus leaker Billbil-kun, it’s all but locked in.

Regardless, NetherRealm and Warner Bros will take to socials at 11.00 pm AEST tonight with whatever is coming.

We’ll report back tomorrow morning if you’re not inclined to stay up that late; we’re struggling to do so ourselves as the nights are getting darker and colder that much quicker.

Stay tuned for more on the Mortal Kombat 1 reboot… or whatever it is.
