SwitchBuddy app makes it easier to save screenshots

And it works on both iOS and Android!

The new SwitchBuddy app, designed by Filip Němeček, makes it far easier to transfer and save screenshots and videos from your Nintendo Switch.

In a press release, Němeček said he created the app because he was frustrated by how clumsy it is to do the save using the Switch’s native functionality.

Available on both iOS and Android devices, the app offers an “easier way to transfer screenshots (and videos) from your Nintendo Switch console to your mobile device,” according to its listing.

“After you connect the app to your Switch, it loads all the screenshots (or video) and allows you to save everything with a single tap.”

To connect your app to your console, you’ll need to load up a QR code on your Switch and capture it on mobile using the app.
