Switch update lets you pair your Bluetooth headphones

Hurrah!

A new Nintendo Switch update now lets users pair their bluetooth headphones with their console.

Up to ten Bluetooth devices can be paired with a single Switch console, though Nintendo notes that “Bluetooth audio will be disconnected during local communication, such as when starting a local wireless multiplayer game.”

Bluetooth microphones are not supported by the Switch; furthermore, wireless controllers cannot be paired with a Switch console while it is connected to a Bluetooth audio device.

To pair a Bluetooth audio device, head to System Settings > Bluetooth Audio and then select Pair.

The Nintendo Switch is available now; a new OLED Edition hits store shelves in October.
