No, your Switch player activity data hasn’t been lost for good

Switch player activity data, recently wiped from consoles as a result of the platform’s first anniversary, isn’t lost.

Nintendo has taken to Twitter to make the confirmation, easing fans’ minds.

“Some Nintendo Switch owners’ play activity info is displaying incorrectly, but play activity is still being recorded accurately in the background,” Nintendo advised. “A future system update will resolve this issue & ensure play time data is correctly displayed. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

The assertion comes after Nintendo’s original report that the data was displaying incorrectly.

We’ll let you know when the data can once again be accessed.
