Surprise! Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition available tomorrow

Digital Eclipse delivers another retro love letter.

Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition is a surprise release heading to PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch, Ubisoft has today announced.

“Developed by Digital Eclipse in collaboration with Ubisoft Montpellier, this anniversary release celebrates three decades of the beloved 1995 classic with five versions of the game, including PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color,” Ubisoft said in a press release. “Players will be transported back into the magical world of Rayman, navigating familiar settings like the Dream Forest and the musical chaos of the Band Lands to help rescue Electoons and save the world from Mr. Dark.

“The definitive edition preserves everything players love about the original game, alongside new content, including a never-before-playable SNES prototype, 120 additional levels from bonus level packs, a faithfully reimagined soundtrack by composer Christophe Héral and enhanced gameplay features such as a 60-second rewind, infinite lives, and invincibility,” continued Ubisoft.

The title will be priced at $19.99 USD, and will also be offered up as a physical release “in select regions” later on in June.

Expect Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition on Windows PC via Steam and the Ubisoft Store, alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch.
