Supermassive’s Man of Medan release date set for August

The Man of Medan, the first episode of Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures Anthology, will be released on both Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 in August.

For those unfamiliar, The Dark Pictures Anthology will release episodic content and looks to feature a play style similar to Supermassive’s previous game, Until Dawn.

Pre-orders will be accepted from today and provide Day 1 Access to the Curator’s Cut, which includes the following:

  • A new perspective with alternative characters in previously played scenes
  • New decisions and choices within each scene which change the story in different ways
  • Includes new scenes and new secrets not featured in the original playthrough

It should be noted that the Curator’s Cut will be made available, for free, to all players at a later date. The only condition is players need to complete the episode.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan heads to Windows PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 30 August.
