Super Smash Bros. will let you use your 3DS to control the Wii U version of the game

Since the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. comes out first, you may get accustomed to using the handheld to play the fighter. NintendoWorldReport recently reported that you’ll be able to keep with (new) tradition and use the 3DS as a controller inside the Wii U version of the game.

The image below sums it all up quite nicely:

As the image also states, you’ll be able to transfer custom-made fighters between versions as well.

Super Smash Bros. first arrives on 3DS from 4 October. A demo for the game is available this week on the handheld. The Wii U version is expected around the holiday season.
