Super Smash Bros Direct will focus on DLC fighter Hero

A new Super Smash Bros Direct will take place tomorrow night and detail the game’s newest DLC fighter, Hero from Dragon Quest.

The Direct will run for a total of 22 minutes from 11.00 pm AEST tomorrow, 30 July, and will be available to watch via Nintendo Australia’s YouTube channel. We’ll add the video embed here as it’s made available.

Nintendo’s confirmed the event will provide “an in-depth look at upcoming DLC Fighter, Hero from the Dragon Quest series! Alongside new details, [Director Masahiro Sakurai will] be revealing when the fighter will arrive.”

The news comes as Nintendo prepares to launch version 4.0 of the popular mascot fighter. The update will include “fighter adjustments, meaning replay data from previous versions will be incompatible,” Nintendo has advised.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is exclusive to Nintendo Switch and available now.
