Super Smash Bros. (for 3DS) gets two versions of a demo this week

Over the weekend, Nintendo Australia advised that a demo for Super Smash Bros. (for 3DS) will be available from later this week. Or, if you’re lucky, now.

Select Club Nintendo fans have already been mailed four codes that will let them download the demo early. If you’ve been lucky enough to grab some codes, make sure to be nice and share them around, okay?

If you can’t get your hands on a code, the demo becomes available to all from 20 September.

Here’s the real kicker, though: the Club Nintendo demo seems to allow for unlimited play, while the downloadable open demo only allows for 30 goes at the game. You REALLY want to try to find a demo code, people.

Super Smash Bros. will be available for the Nintendo 3DS family on 4 October.
