Super Meat Boy sales on Switch almost as good as Xbox 360

Super Meat Boy sales on Switch came dangerously close to those on Xbox 360 in 2010, developer Team Meat recently revealed.

The developer took to Twitter with the news, writing, “Super Meat Boy on Switch first day sales came shockingly close to it’s debut on Xbox 360 back in 2010. That’s nuts.”

The news came with the promise that a physical Switch release will be offered down the line. The title is currently available via the Nintendo eShop.

Meanwhile, Team Meat is also hard at work on Super Meat Boy Forever, planned for Windows PC, Linux, Xbox One, Ps4, Switch, iOS and Android devices later this year.
